Andy's Granny, Uncle John and Aunt Stacie

(Tom's Mom, youngest brother and sister-in-law) came to visit last week.
Sorry we haven't posted an update with some new pictures until now. We had a great time and enjoyed getting to show off our new home and bouncing baby boy to more family.
We did a little touring around Memphis and Beale Street last Sunday. We also saw the famous Memphis Pyramid.
Then we spent the rest of day visiting and catching up.
Monday, while Tom was at work, the rest of the family decided to take a road trip. They drove to
and then to Missouri for the day. To get from Kentucky to Missouri, they rode the ferry across the Mississippi River.
While they were in Missouri, the had lunch at Lambert's Restaurant.
It's famous for "Throwed Rolls". Yes, they chunk the rolls at you from across the room.

They brought me rolls home that night and, they were really good.
I got my annual late winter cold while they were here and wasn't much of a host the last couple of days. We did get a nice family picture before they left though.
We were glad they came to see us even if they only got to stay a few days. Hopefully we can take some time soon and go see John and Stacie's home in Texas.
Andy's starting to eat more solids. In the past week and a half, he's had green beans (made him shiver) sweet potaotes, (not bad) and carrots (liked them best I think.) We had to hide the green beans under his applesauce rice.

Andy's getting fussy right now so, last thing for this update.... We finally found letters for andy's name on the wall in the nursery.

Wow! What a great post. While in Missouri you were near DH's old hometown and "stomping ground" area. He took me to Lambert's too.
Great to see your pictures.
We are still waiting!
